This year, I’m counting down to Christmas, and each day I want to do a holiday-related tradition to work myself up into a total Christmas frenzy by December 25. It starts today! Oh my word, I love this list! I so wish we lived close enough that I could be involved in that list. And we are having a Christmas sweater party with our UNC friends on the 22nd. Pictures to follow. wink
Me, too! I almost added your polar express idea to my list, but Baby Cupcake is still too oblivious and would be confused as to why we were taking her out of bed and putting her in the car in her pjs and making her listen to Christmas music. Ha! Next year!
I made ginger cookies today…perfect way to start December.
Great list…fun activities and delicious treats!
Cindy
Yay for ginger cookies! Somehow they seem unlike other cookies and should be eaten at breakfast as well, I think.
Hey Alicia, I love this list. I see you are a true Ammon in your love for Christmas. We do the advent calendar and I am totally stealing your homeade donut idea! The only activity I could add is driving around to look at Christmas lights. Congratulations on your pregnancy!! That is so exciting. I will be praying for you and anticipating some “how to each three servings of vegetables everyday” posts. Merry Christmas!
Yes! Wonderful idea. Driving to look at lights has been added to the list!
Ammons* . Not sure how you forget your best friend’s lat name, but I guess it’s possible.
Becky! I am SO glad that I just stumbled upon these comments! Alicia, you might could go for two movie nights – Love Actually, Elf, The Family Man, Its a Wonderful Life – there are too many good ones to cram into one night!
So true! More movies and cookies, it is!
There are not nearly enough Christmas cookies on this list!!! To work up a true Christmas frenzy, you should add peanut butter blossoms, buckeyes, and candy cane cookies!! Also, for tradition’s sake, you’ve got to dress up like Santa for one of the days with your big preggie belly. Baby Cupcake will love it!
Yes, I’ve got the “bowl full of jelly” covered when I laugh!
Good point on the cookies. I’ll be sure to add it in way more times!
